General Terms and Conditions of Sale for the KBL Bijoux Online Store
1. Scope of Application
1.1. These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the www.kblbijoux.ch website.
1.2. By placing an order on the www.kblbijoux.ch website, the customer acknowledges having read and unreservedly accepted these general terms and conditions of sale.
2. Products
2.1. The items offered for sale by KBL Bijoux are described and presented on the website with the greatest possible accuracy. However, minimal variations may exist between the actual items and the images displayed due to differences in color, size, or finish. KBL Bijoux cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of this information and disclaims all responsibility in case of minor differences. In case of doubt about an item, customers are invited to contact customer service before finalizing their order.
2.2. The items remain the property of KBL Bijoux until full payment of the price has been made by the customer.
3. Orders
3.1. The Customer can order items available on the www.kblbijoux.ch website. To place an order, the customer must be of legal age and fully legally capable.
3.2. The ordering process includes the following steps:
- Selection of items and addition to cart
- Indication of the delivery address
- Cart verification and order validation
- Online payment via accepted payment methods
- Receipt of order confirmation by e-mail
3.3. Any order placed by the customer constitutes a firm offer to purchase the selected items in accordance with these general terms and conditions of sale.
3.4. KBL Bijoux reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of payment issues, unavailable items, suspected fraud, or for any other legitimate reason.
3.5. KBL Bijoux undertakes to fulfill orders within the limits of available stock. In case of unavailability of an item after placing the order, KBL Bijoux will inform the customer as soon as possible and offer a similar item or a refund.
3.6. The Customer can check the status of their order by logging into their account on the www.kblbijoux.ch website.
4. Price and payment
4.1. The prices of the items are indicated on the www.kblbijoux.ch website in CHF, including VAT.
4.2. Payment is made online at the time of order. We offer the following payment methods: Twint, MasterCard, VisaCard, PostCard, Post E-Finance, PayPal, bank transfer, or any other payment method accepted by KBL Bijoux. The customer guarantees that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method.
4.3. In case of credit card payment, the customer will be redirected to the secure online payment platform to complete the transaction. Payment information is encrypted and not stored by KBL Bijoux.
4.4. The total amount of the order, including delivery charges, is debited from the customer's account at the time of order validation.
4.5. In case of non-payment or partial payment of the order, KBL Bijoux reserves the right to suspend or cancel the current order, without prejudice to any recourse.
4.6. Prices may be modified at any time by KBL Bijoux. The applicable prices are those in effect at the time of order validation by the customer.
5. Delivery and transport
5.1. Delivery areas: The KBL Bijoux online store delivers only to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
5.2. Items are sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer during the ordering process.
5.3. Delivery costs in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are free for purchases over CHF 60. For orders below this amount, a flat rate of CHF 4.90 for delivery charges applies.
5.4. Delivery times in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are generally 1 to 3 working days from order confirmation and payment. These times are indicative and may vary depending on item availability.
Delivery is handled by La Post for deliveries in Switzerland, via A+ mail. KBL Bijoux reserves the right to send the package by registered mail if the value of the goods exceeds CHF 250, at no additional cost to the customer.
An express delivery option is available, with a fee of CHF 15 at the customer's expense.
5.5. The Customer is responsible for checking the condition of the packaging and items upon receipt of the order. In case of apparent damage, the customer must make written reservations on the delivery note or refuse delivery. In the absence of reservations, delivery is deemed compliant.
5.6. In case of non-receipt of an order within the indicated timeframe, the customer must inform KBL Bijoux as soon as possible so that checks can be carried out.
6. Right of withdrawal and return of goods
6.1. If an item does not meet the customer's expectations, the customer may return it within 7 days from the date of receipt, accompanied by the invoice. The jewelry must not have been worn and must be returned in its original condition, as well as in its original packaging. Labels and protective films must not be removed. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
6.2. In case of a compliant return and if the customer prefers, they can choose to exchange the item rather than request a refund. The customer will then need to contact KBL Bijoux to discuss replacement options.
6.3. In case of a non-compliant return or an item damaged by the customer, KBL Bijoux reserves the right to refuse the refund.
6.4. The return address will be indicated on the invoice.
7. Warranty
7.1. KBL Bijoux guarantees its items against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. A warranty repair does not extend the initial warranty period.
7.2. Excluded from the warranty are the loss of an item, damages related to natural wear and tear, improper use, lack of precaution, an accident, as well as sale items. KBL Bijoux will decide whether the repair is covered by the warranty or not.
7.3. To benefit from the warranty, the customer must retain proof of purchase and notify their request to KBL Bijoux by filling out the contact form available on the www.kblbijoux.ch website and sending it to the email address kblbijoux@gmail.com, specifying the reason for the request.
7.4. Return costs in case of a defect covered by the warranty are borne by KBL Bijoux. The return address is indicated in the contact form and on the invoice.
7.5. In case of a defect covered by the warranty and if the item is not repairable, KBL Bijoux offers the following options:
- Replacement with an identical item, if available in stock.
- Exchange for another item of equivalent value, subject to availability.
- Refund in the form of a credit note.
- Direct refund using the same payment method initially used.
8. Gift Voucher
8.1. KBL Bijoux offers the sale of gift vouchers on its website www.kblbijoux.ch. Gift vouchers are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The validity date of each gift voucher is clearly indicated on it and cannot be extended beyond this period. Gift vouchers are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash.
8.2. To use a gift voucher, the beneficiary must follow the instructions provided with the voucher at the time of purchase. If the total amount of the order exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the beneficiary must pay the difference. Gift vouchers can only be used once. Any unused amount during the first use will be lost.
8.3. In case of loss or theft, the gift voucher cannot be replaced.
9. Discount Vouchers
Discount vouchers are promotional offers issued by KBL Bijoux. They can be used for direct purchases or other specific transactions, unless otherwise indicated. They are not cumulative and are non-transferable, with no possibility of exchange for cash.
10. Protection of Personal Data
The KBL Bijoux online store is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers. The information collected during the order is used only within the context of the commercial relationship with the customer and is not communicated to third parties. The customer has a right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data.
11. Disputes
In case of a dispute, the customer can contact KBL Bijoux customer service to find an amicable solution. Failing this, any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution, or termination of these terms will be submitted to the competent courts of the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
